She has studied Craniosacral Techniques with the Upledger Institute and has developed a strong background in sports medicine and overuse injuries with an emphasis in manual physical therapy.  Her practice specializes in the non-surgical treatment of back, neck, hip, knee, and headache pain, as well as post surgical shoulder rehabilitation.  Her 16 years of clinical practice in physical therapy has lead her in 2007 to the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) as a result of advanced training, extraordinary interest and devotion to the science of postural adaptations, asymmetrical patterns, and the influence of muscles on the body as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute TM.  Her passion for Postural Restoration science and patient interventions has lead to a reputation for successful clinical outcomes and the opportunity to provide in-services to physicians, physical therapists, coaches and athletes in the implementation of Postural Restoration in their practice. 

Community Living:
Estelle works with student athletes in the Essex School District and has particular interest working with soccer, hockey, golf, and baseball players, as well as ballet dancers.  Estelle is very active in her community organizing the Essex Women's Soccer Program, a founding member of a women's running group, and partcipating in the Chittenden County American Cancer Society Walk for Life. 
Estelle lives in Essex with her husband and her three sons. 

Hobbies and Interests:
Spending time with family and friends, walking with her dog, playing women's and co-ed soccer, skiing, snowshoeing, golfing, gardening, scrapbooking and traveling.

She is an accomplished equestrian and competes at the national level with her Morgan horses. Casey has won a total of 4 world championship titles at the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma City.

 

Jim Cummings, PT

Jim has worked primarily in private practice for 17 years. He has had an opportunity to expand on his physical therapy skills through extensive continuing education courses allowing for the most current rehabilitation approaches of orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries. His knowledge and passion of orthopedics in combination with postural imbalances techniques have allowed him to work closely with his clients to have them achieve their personal goals. Jim is highly regarded by local Orthopedic and General Physicians in our community for his approach and personal attention to his clients. He has been involved in clinical research with the University of Vermont on Knee ACL rehabilitation.
